Privacy Policy
Effective October 21, 2026
Truly Wed ("Truly Wed," "we," "us") provides marketing, lead follow-up and coaching services to wedding venues. This policy explains what information we collect through trulywed.com, by email, by phone and through our social media pages, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you apply on our website, we collect your name, venue name, email address, phone number, city and state, website or social media handle, and your answers about your bookings, ad budget, current marketing and goals. We also collect what you send us by email, phone or social media message.
Information collected automatically. Our website host records standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the time of your visit. Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them. We also use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). It collects information about your visit, such as pages viewed, buttons clicked and whether you submitted an application, along with technical details like your IP address and browser, and Meta may link it to your Meta account. We use it to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. Meta's use of this information is covered by Meta's Privacy Policy.
Information from our venue clients. When a venue hires us, we process inquiries from couples interested in that venue, such as names, phone numbers, wedding dates and guest counts. We handle that information on the venue's behalf, only to provide our services to that venue.
How we use your information
- To review your application and contact you about our services
- To schedule and hold strategy calls and check-ups
- To provide our services to venue clients, including running ads, following up with inquiries and booking tours
- To bill clients and keep business records
- To improve our website and services
- To comply with the law and protect our rights
Text messages sent for our venue clients
We do not text people who apply on our website. We contact applicants only by email and phone.
As part of our services, we send text messages to couples who inquire with our venue clients, on that venue's behalf. Couples can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with any third party for their marketing purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties, except with the service providers that send messages on our behalf.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting and form handling, our CRM and texting platform, email, scheduling and payment processing. They may use it only to provide services to us.
- With Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when we run advertising campaigns for our clients
- With Meta through the Meta Pixel on our website, to measure and improve our own advertising
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Truly Wed, our clients or others
- As part of a merger, sale or transfer of our business, with notice to you
How long we keep information
We keep application information for as long as needed to respond to you and for our business records, generally no longer than 3 years after our last contact. We keep client and lead information for the length of our engagement with the venue and as needed afterward for legal and accounting purposes, or return or delete it at the venue's request.
How we protect information
We use reasonable safeguards, including secure (HTTPS) connections and access controls on the tools we use. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- You can opt out of emails by using the unsubscribe link or asking us. Couples texted on behalf of a venue can reply STOP to opt out.
- You can control how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Meta ad preferences, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under state law. Contact us to make a request, and we will respond as the law requires.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
